In 2025, a year early, we managed to gather 24 campers in 3 cabins. Feedback was positive; kids had fun and made good friends.

In 2026, we doubled our numbers—mostly through word of mouth. 48 campers filled the whole village, and next year, when we get even bigger, we’ll need two villages and a second village coordinator.

Our visiting artist program at PRIDE Camp has been successful. In 2025, we hosted a Stonewall-winning author who taught us about slam poetry, and in 2026, we had a skilled self-defense instructor who gave us a five-day course on Queer Self-Defense. Both years, we were honored to host Jenny, our yogi for all bodies, who runs yoga and meditation times.

Our partnership with Lancaster County Chooses Love continues to grow through shared programs and community grants. We’ve served hundreds of families through free climbing and pottery classes, roller skating days, and karaoke.

And this year, our Gracie Grant program will open in October, offering three microgrants of $1,000 to businesses and organizations to expand their safe spaces to LGBTQ+ youth.

It’s been two very fast and successful years. A lot of volunteer hours. And fun.

In those moments when a camper hugs me at closing campfire and whispers, “Camp saved my life last year,” I think about every single one of you and every dollar given to us to do this work, and I wish you all knew the good you are doing.

This week, co-founder Jaxon was at a local coffee shop when a camper walked in, saw him, asked if they could take a selfie together, and then said they were sending it to their cabin group chat.
