Our mission is safe spaces.
Gracie’s Birthday Campfire
This picture was taken ten years ago--2 days after Gracie's 12th birthday--and was the beginning of a hiking adventure into the Arizona mountains with her brother and me. Gracie loved being outside in nature. We climbed Bell Rock, hiked into wilderness, and meditated on a powerful vortex. The memories from that trip will forever make me smile.
This year, Gracie would have been 22 on November 19th. Every day since we lost her, I try to do with my hands what she would have done with hers. That's how it works, after all. When we lose a loving, compassionate person like Gracie, we are gifted with her love and compassion so as to pass it on. Then came Gracie's House, where our mission is safe spaces for LGBTQ+ kids in rural areas.
This year for Gracie's birthday, we are raising money for future PRIDE Camps--a week of safe space summer camp for LGBTQ+ youth at Gracie's favorite camp in Pennsylvania. PRIDE camp will serve 50+ campers starting in July 2025--with room to grow! It costs Gracie's House $55,000+ to run camp. We thank you for any amount you can give.
You can donate here or text GRACIE22 to 53-555.
Thanks for helping us act as Gracie's hands. 💛
Love, Amy
